The bible is made up of the old testement and the new testement. It is a book that tells many stories from a long time ago. The bible is a record of the ways of people in acient israel experienced God. It is an account of God's revelation. It's also the sacred writings of the Christian religions. The term "bible" is best known in reference to the Christian Scriptures consisting of the both the Old and New Testaments. The word comes from the Greek, biblios, which means book.
