Why Moses??

I think God chose Moses because he needed something to 'see' to really believe that there was a God. But also there is tha fact that he wasn't raised with that particular religion, that might make all the difference between a follower and a leader. If I was God I think I would still choose Moses because when you look at the way everything turned out, it was for the better. So yes i would still choose Moses to lead the Hebrew people.

Why Moses?

Moses compassion for the Israelite was so great that he couldn't bare to see his own people(the Hebrews) get beaten by Pharaoh's taskmasters. Moses stood up for his people in a time of need. I think that God chose Moses because he cared for the people and his bravery.
I would choose Moses because he is brave , caring, and also he shows that he is worthy of God's trust to lead his people.

WhY MoSes???

I think God chose Moses because he was a strong person and he hated the way the Egyptions treated the Hebrews. God knew that Moses wouldn't say no because Moses was strong & brave. He was saved from death by the pharoah's daughter so now he is going to save the Hebrews from pain & suffering.

I would've chose Moses for this job because of what happened to him when he was a baby. He was very brave for defending his fellow Hebrews too.

Great Decision God!

God chose Moses because Moses was saved from death. He was rescued by the pharaoh's daughter, so he was important from birth. Also, since his mother was smart enought and brave enough to save her baby, God knew Moses would be smart, brave, and have a big heart. God knew Moses would do whateber He asked, and would not let Him down.

I would also have chosen Moses, just like God. This is because since Moses's mother loved him enough to let go of him, Moses would loved people too, especially God. I would have chose Moses because he was holy and extremely loved, by both his mother and foster mother. As we found out, God made a wise decision choosing Moses, because he led all of the Israelites to freedom.

CH0OSiNG M0SES *

Along with God, it is the figure of Moses (Moshe) who dominates the Torah. Acting at God's behest, it is he who leads the Jews out of slavery, unleashes the Ten Plagues against Egypt, guides the freed slaves for forty years in the wilderness, carries down the law from Mount Sinai, and prepares the Jews to enter the land of Canaan. Without Moses, there would be little apart from laws to write about in the last four books of the Torah.

Moses: Why Was He Chosen?

Moses was chosen by God because he is from the House of Jacob, meaning that his ancestors were Hebrews that had strong ties with God. Moses also seemed to know what he had to do in order to promote God and free the Hebrews although he was a bit unsure at first. Moses also had to brave in order to face the Pharoh and all his soldiers. Moses must of also been smart in order to believe that there is a God. He was probably loyal if he could go up against such a tryant as the Pharoh with the belief that God would hlp him, and not back down from his calling. Since Moses's mother loved him enough to give him up to a straggng Egyptian women that she had never seen before, she must love him very much to care about his better future. I would of also chose Moses for the same reasons that God chose him....

moses is the man

Why did god chosse moses? i think he choose mosses because he was a great leader is story of salvation might have led to gods choice. He also helped that killed the eqyption that was attacking the hebrew and burried him.

if i was god i would've choose moses because he is a graet leader and is a hebrew and knew he was and wanted to help. http://www.keyway.ca/htm2002/moses.htm

why did he choose Moses

I Think Moses was chosen because he was already an enemy of the pharoah because he witnessed a beating of a hebrew person and killed an Egyptian over it. Then he fled and escaped the Pharoah. He was Jewish so he was accepted by the hebrews. Moses felt bad for the Hebrews and so did God. He knew what the Hebrews went through but was not actually enslaved himself so he was a perfect candidate for the job. I would have chose moses too because moses already didn't like the Egyptians and killed for the Hebrews. He was healthy and strong so he could handle himself if he had to so Moses was a good choice in my opinion.

WOULD YOU PiCK MOSES?

I think God picked Moses because God said that he was the God of his ancestors. I also think God picked Moses because Moses lived in the palace so he had an upper hand on trying to get pharoh on his side. I would pick Moses because of the fact that he lived in the palace and had a feel of the Hebrews and the Egyptians.

The Bible, and what it is...

Question, what is this post about?
This blog is for my Theology class at Pope John XXIII High School, and the first post is entitled "What is the Bible?". Well, I'll tell you, the Bible is a collection of sacred books and writings in the Roman Catholic Church that provide guidelines such as how to be good people, as well as teach us about the creation and history of the Catholic Church, and the life and teahings of Jesus Christ, the messiah of Cristianity. For more information on the Bible, you can visit the sites below;

The bible *

There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the new. The Bible was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit by over 40 different authors from all walks of life: shepherds, farmers, tent-makers, physicians, fishermen, priests, philosophers and kings. Despite these differences in occupation and the span of years it took to write it, the Bible is an extremely cohesive and unified book.It was written over a period of some 1,500 years, from around 1450 B.C. (the time of Moses) to about 100 A.D. (following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ). I got my information from http://www.bible.com/answers/afacts.html

Moses

God chose Moses because he was a great leader. He led the Hebrew to a free land which would be theirs. God trusted him to do this because of his compasion for his religion.

I would have chosen Moses too because he felt so strongly about his religion. Even though he had such power, being the son of the pharoh's daughter, he doesnt forget about his religion. When he saw a fellow hebrew being abused, he did something about it, granted it was not the best choice, he still reacted even though he would never be treated like that himself.

What is the bible?
The Bible is the history of our religion. It helps us learn and build a stronger relationship with God. It's a book that contains examples of ways we can live out lives. The Bible also gives us advise in ways to solve problems we face in ordinary life. With the bible we become stronger and better people.

The Bible thing

The Bible is a collection of stories about the history of our Faith over the last 4000 years. It tells us of our creation, the lives of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, David, and all the other aspects of how our faith came to be. In the early days, no one knew how to write, so stories were passed on through oral tradition. All the stories of their people were passed on from the storytellers to the youth. During the time of the Jews' captivity in Babylon, the priest feared that the stories would die out because so many of the story tellers had been killed, so they began writing them down, thus, we have our bible today.

I wouldn't of chosen Moses

I wouldn't chose Moses because of the fact that he killed an Egyptian man and then ran away from the Pharoah. He then proceeded to get married and didn't inform his wife or father-in-law of why he was in their land. I also wouldt choose Moses because he doubted what God was saying to him so much.

WHAT THE BiBLE MEANS TO ME!

WHAT IS THE BIBLE?

The Bible is a collection of books and songs written by holy writers about encounters with God. The bible is split up into two sections, The Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament has things to do with people like Moses and King David. In the Old Testament it also tells how the world was created. The New Testament has things to do with Jesus and his miracles. The Bible also helps you sort out your problems and it can help you make the right choices.

WaT iS tHe BiBlE

Wat is the bible? The bible is the story of god and other inportant people in the religion. The bible is not one story is consist of 73 diffrent ones. The bible has a Old and a New Testament.

BiBlE

The bible is made up of the old testement and the new testement. It is a book that tells many stories from a long time ago. The bible is a record of the ways of people in acient israel experienced God. It is an account of God's revelation. It's also the sacred writings of the Christian religions. The term "bible" is best known in reference to the Christian Scriptures consisting of the both the Old and New Testaments. The word comes from the Greek, biblios, which means book.

What is the Bible?

I asked my mother what she thougt the Bible was and she said, "The Bible is a comprehensive account of the history of the ancient Isrealite civilization, and its progression over time to the religious world present during the times of Jesus. The Bible also entails many prophecies and laws to be followed regaurding both the Jewish religion and present day Christianity."

When looking the Bible up in an online dictionary, it was defined as being, "The sacred book of Christianity, a collection of ancient writings including the books of both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Hebrew Scriptures, the sacred book of Judaism."

Whhhhyyyy Moses ?

I think God chose Moses because he proved he was a great leader. He led the Hebrews to a land with sources of food and water for them to survive.

I don't think I would have chose Moses just because he led the Hebrews. If it wasn't for him killing an Egyptian and fleeing so he wouldn't be punished, he wouldn't have been Midian in the first place. I think Moses was a coward for leaving his problems.

^ THEEE STORRYYY OF MOOOSSSEEESS ^

Why Moses?

I think God chose Moses because he was saved when he was born. He showed that just because he was adopted into the Egyptian family, he would never forget about where he came from. He went against the Egyptians when he killed the slave keeper. He had shown God that he was a leader when he did the Exodus.

Why did God choose Moses?

I believe God chose Moses, because he had him in his salvation plans since before he was even conceived. He proved to be a good leader by not forgetting his orginal, Hebrew, ancestry. He proved to God he loved his Hebrew people by not letting them be battered or hurt by the Egyptians. His mother showed true love for him by leaving him in the river to be picked up by any stranger and God blessed her by beign the one who nursed him .

what is the bible?

To me the bible is a book of stories that have a religious meaning. It contains the stories of jesus which is the basis for christian religions. It also contains the old testament which is before jesus it would be similar to Hebrew scripture. There are many translations of the bible but they are all close to the same story. The bible is a book with stories that are suppose to be true and have special meanings. It contains parables which are short stories with morals. Jesus used parables to teach people.

What is the Bible?

The Bible is a collection of stories, written by various people inspired by God. These are stories of Christians basic beliefs and history of their religion. The Bible gives us help on living a moral life and following in Gods path. In the Bible there are two sections; The Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is based on stories of ancient Isreal and before the coming of Jesus. The New Testament is stories based on Jesus' time, from when he was born until when he ressurected. These Bible stories all build the background of Christian Beliefs. http://www.gdcoc.org/

What is the Bible?

The Bible is like any other book, but different in some ways.Unlike most stories, the bible has various authors. The authors were all inspired by the word of God to write what they believe. Also unlike most stories, the bible has many "chapters", but they don't really relate with eachother, because every writer had different opinions and beliefs. The bible is split into two parts, the Old and the New Testaments. The Old Testament is based on stories of ancient Isreal everything before the coming of Jesus. The New Testament are stories of Jesus' time during his life and ressurection. The bible is the basic book of beliefs of the Christian faith. http://www.bible.com/

What's the Bible?

What is the Bible?

The Bible, also called the Scriptures or the Sacred Scriptures, is a collection of books written by human authors inspired by God. They are an account of God's revelation and plan of salvation for the human race. The Bible is made up of seventy-three books and is divided into two sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Bible also is to me another way of prayer. A way to speak to God other than in prayers. I believe that the Bible writers were inspired by God ,but also added their own enthusiasm or their own beliefs or better said their point of view to make it more believable.

--> What is the Bible? I think that the bible is a big book of combined books that tell you stories. The stories are about God and Jesus and how Jesus died on the cross for us. It also is like a book of instructions for the future. This book informs us about whats coming so we can be ready. We should share the bible with everyone so they can come to know the Lord. So basicly the bible is God's word speaking to us.

What is the Bible?

To me the bible is a book of stories that show a way of living life. The Bible is made up of stories with meaning behind them. The Bible aslo tells us who people back then lived their lives and how they treated people. It also tells us who people betrated God and Jesus. For example, Adam and Eve betrated God by eating the apple. http://www.bible.com/bibles.html That is my link for information!!

What's The Bible?

The Bible is a book or collection of sacred writtings. It consists of two parts, The Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures) & The New Testament (Christian Scriptures). The Old Testament starts by telling us about the history about the Jewish people and ends at the birth of Christ.
